The cost of disconnected tools
When Power Platform sits in isolation from Microsoft 365, teams lose time, data gets duplicated, and your existing investment goes underutilised.
Outlook approvals stuck in inboxes
Approval chains buried in email threads with no audit trail, no visibility into who approved what, and no automatic routing.
SharePoint files disconnected from apps
Documents stored in SharePoint but manually attached to forms, with no live linkage or automatic versioning.
Teams conversations isolated from data
Project discussions in Teams whilst the actual data lives in spreadsheets or disconnected systems.
Manual data re-entry across tools
Copying information between Outlook, SharePoint, and business apps because they don't talk to each other.
No single source of truth
The same data maintained in multiple places — Teams files, SharePoint lists, and standalone apps — all drifting out of sync.
Inconsistent permissions
Managing access controls separately in each tool, with no centralised governance or inheritance from Microsoft 365 groups.
Deep connections across the Microsoft 365 stack
We build Power Platform solutions that treat Microsoft 365 as the foundation — not a separate system to bridge.
SharePoint Integration
Never manually attach a document again. Your Power Apps pull files directly from SharePoint with automatic versioning and live metadata sync. When a document updates in SharePoint, your app reflects it instantly — no duplicate filing, no version confusion.
Teams Integration
Bring your apps into the conversations that matter. Site teams complete forms without leaving Teams channels, project updates post automatically to the right people, and approvals trigger directly from chat messages — no context switching required.
Outlook Integration
Turn email approval chains into trackable workflows. Approvals route automatically based on value thresholds, calendar events generate from workflow triggers, and incoming emails parse straight into your data model — full audit trail included.
OneDrive Integration
File storage that mirrors how your business works. Power Apps upload directly to OneDrive with folder structures that match your organisational hierarchy. Files appear exactly where your teams expect them — no manual sorting required.
Entra ID & Security
One permission system across everything. Your Power Apps inherit security groups and role-based access directly from Entra ID — no duplicate permission management, no drift between systems, and single sign-on that just works.
Microsoft 365 Groups
App access that updates itself. When someone joins a Microsoft 365 group, they automatically gain access to the relevant Power Apps. When they leave, access revokes automatically. Permissions stay aligned with your org chart without manual intervention.

M365 integration questions answered
Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us and we'll answer within one business day.
Will this disrupt our existing SharePoint structure?
+No. We work within your current folder hierarchy, permissions and document libraries. Nothing moves, nothing breaks — we just connect Power Platform to what's already there. Your teams continue working in SharePoint exactly as they do today.
How long does a typical M365 integration take?
+Most SharePoint, Teams or Outlook integrations deploy in 2–4 weeks. Complex multi-system workflows with document generation, approval routing and event triggers take 6–8 weeks. We scope this precisely in the discovery call and agree a fixed timeline before starting.
Do we need additional Microsoft licences?
+Only if you don't already have Power Platform licences. Most Microsoft 365 Business Premium or E3/E5 plans include Power Apps and Power Automate — we'll check your entitlements in discovery. If you need additional licences, we'll tell you exactly which ones and why.
What if we're using legacy SharePoint or on-premise Exchange?
+We handle hybrid environments regularly. On-premise systems require on-premise data gateways, which we configure and document as part of delivery. SharePoint 2016/2019 and Exchange Server are fully supported — though cloud connections are simpler and faster.
Can you migrate our existing workflows into Power Automate?
+Yes. We regularly migrate SharePoint Designer workflows, legacy approval processes and email-based workflows into Power Automate. We map your current process, rebuild it with proper error handling and audit trails, then run both in parallel during testing before switching over.
What happens if someone updates a file in SharePoint — does the app break?
+No. SharePoint integrations sync changes automatically — updates in SharePoint appear in your app, and vice versa. Version history is preserved, so you can always roll back if needed. We build these connections to be resilient, not fragile.
Why PowerTech365 for M365 integration
Most consultancies treat Microsoft 365 as something to work around. We treat it as the foundation — and build Power Platform solutions that make your existing investment work harder.
- We don't rip and replace — every integration preserves your existing file structures, permissions and workflows
- Documentation-first delivery means your team can maintain connections long-term without vendor lock-in
- We scope integrations based on ROI, not feature lists — if it doesn't save time or reduce errors, we don't build it
- Single point of accountability from discovery to post-launch support — no handoffs to separate teams
We audit your M365 environment first
Before writing a line of code, we map your current SharePoint structure, Teams usage, security groups and workflows. This ensures integrations fit how your business actually works.
We build with your team's skill level in mind
Solutions are designed so your administrators can make common changes without calling us. Documentation covers the "why" behind every decision, not just the "how".
We test in your actual environment
No sandboxes that don't match production. We deploy to your tenant, test with your real data (anonymised), and validate with your actual users before go-live.
We hand over working knowledge, not just working code
Every integration includes runbooks, architecture diagrams, and a handover session where we walk your team through exactly how everything connects.
